Happy New 2015!
Opening a new world of wonders with this simple primitive Christmas design. Blue evenweave, 28 count, stitched two over two with two of over-dyed cotton threads from Crescent Colours.

Easter this Sunday according to Orthodox calendar. The second one for us this year. Usually a a week difference , this year 5 weeks in between. Holiday time in Russia, International Labour Day followed by Easter followed by Victory Day. Week festivities. Usual working week here. No Easter cakes baking this year, nor decorated eggs….
As promised, a month per day and here we are in the warm August sailing. The sea, the breeze and the little boat is gliding on the waves. Yellow beaded bird is envying the speed (or is it laughing?), crab goes red with joy! My love to WDW and GAST threads, simply beautiful.
There is nothing unusual that autumn leaves are stitched in March, especially if the calendar is stitched from the end. And really, snow gone by now revealed autumn leaves under the trees and between the bushes. They are not as bright as they are in autumn and all are of the same dirty brown colour….
