This was stitched a couple of years ago, when I only started my journey into the world of embroidery. Christiane Dahlbeck is behind the pattern, her little Easter booklet stitched all. Stitched with silk threads on evenweave and framed in the beautiful stylish card hanger.
Red table runner, stitched work from 1954 – 1956. The unknown stitcher nearly finished it, just the last row was missing. The most interesting one, with the geese. Threads from the same era, gave no problems at all. Stitched, edges finished, laundered, ironed and……..hidden away till next Christmas.
